I've started playing pokemon emerald, because sapphire was the most fun pokemon game I've EVER played.(next to silver, but that's broken now T_T)
and I love my file on sapphire too much to ever erase it, so emerald it is ^_^
These are my pokamans. Let me show you them.
Pikachu: Rasputin. Male.
Milotic: Lostelle. Female.
Combusken: Nicholas. Male.
Roselia: Alexis. Male.
Golduck: Astrid. Female.
Shelgon: Trotsky. Female.
...
For those of you who've read this far and noticed the pattern, four of these names are nods to Russian historical figures from around and during the fall of tsarist Russia.
Because I enjoyed studying the subject in school, and have enjoyed it in college too. ^_^
Nicholas after the emperor,
Alexis after his sickly son,
Rasputin after the impossible-to-kill pervert who treated the above son's condition,
Trotsky because- although I'm not communist I admire the sheer hard work he put into his cause ( I didn't use the name Lenin because I resent him a little for using and discarding Trotsky)
The other two names are purely random names that suited my pokemon. Anastacia would have been to corny for either of them...
