Really easy to make, i fell in love with the metal finding as soon as i saw it in the shop, no, i didn't make the metal part unfortunately but it is in my abilites to do so now! (thank you college!

the metal piece should be pretty easy to make right?
saw out the design in a sheet of metal shaped in a layed out cone shape (maybe not such a detailed pattern unless you wanna get into imprinting your metal etc), fold metal onto itself for the cone shape and solder if you're using a metal that can solder...
any other steps you can think of?

I actually found some of those cone-fixing things in a shop recently, and realised just how big they are- how did you fix the stones/beads in? Is it like a wire all the way through, or do you fold in those little pointy bits at the base?
