A quick look at my costume for comicon.Show: The Venture Bros
Character: Molotov Coqtiz ([link] )
Pardon the crappy quality of picture, i promise better ones soon. also, it's 5am, and i've been up finishing all the final touches. i will have make-up, dark red lipstick, and a beauty mark for comicon.
i am just really really happy that i got the front of the costume to work with only slightly cheating.

the vinyl gloves i could buy looked like dishwasher gloves. but i plan on making a pair of my own.
i cheated with tape and clear straps to hold the front in place.

you can always use double stick tape instead of the straps...
this is funny and don't laugh when i worked in the costume/movie business the best place to find form fitting pieces of clothing for super heroes..and seriously don't laugh... Sex shops like the gloves you're looking for i had to find something similar for a D movie on the cheap you can get them online or if you feel adventurous take your boyfriend and go shopping hahaha

to be honest, the tape wasn't enough to hold everything in. i used straps + tape ^_~
and funny enough, i bought the boots and gloves in sex/stripper stores along hollywood blvd. it's awesome that you know the best place to find that stuff too!

Did you bring your boyfriend with you on your search for all of this? It's always fun running around in those shops for guys especially when the guy running it is gay and hits on them right in front of their girlfriend. hahaha
I could probably find anything for any application nowadays.
