Description Finally finished.
This took me longer than I expected. I suppose Tank Girl isn't my usual sort of subject for painting. I don't often delve into fan art. And tanks and guns are SO not me...
But her bad-assery is just so inspirational!
She is just so ridiculous! Gotta love her. ^_^

Also, deviantart doesn't have a fan art section for both movies and books. But I went with movies since I haven't actually read the comics (don't hurt me).

I luuuuuuuuuv it a lot!! I think you did a Great Job indeed! Very Inspiring... I adore her, pose, expression and the boots, I love to make the same kind of shoes and boots for my sculptures ... Love this style!

This is a really nice work. I actually really like the color and shading touch that is yet unique to your works (in all works that I have seen). The grainy texture is what I mainly love. I then love the way the front boot is enlarged giving a 3D touch to the work There seems a little itsy bitsy problem with her chin line going straight to her cheek... seems a bit awkward but to be honest it might be just me. The rest of the work from the bubbly tank to the glossy lips and hairpins, a really wonderful work

Do you really think my shading is unique?! That's awesome! I always feel like other people have their own style, but I can't seem to find one in my own work... Maybe that's just because it is mine. ^_^ For the longest time I didn't use colour in my drawings , so maybe that means I focus more on shading because it's what I'm comfortable with.
The grainyness is all due to the watercolour paper. ^_^ I have a love hate relationship with it. I'm glad you think it works here!
I had a bit of trouble with the face actually. Because of how she's sitting, her head is supposed to be tilted back slightly with her chin sort of jutting forward. You know. Because of her attitude.

Yup I do. The water color paper might be the reason behind it... water color... reminds me of something... nevermind that yup since it is your I guess you do not see much uniqueness in it. And the colors in your works now are really good... the hazy, grainy touch and the brownish touch are both unique to you

Ah I see... so you had a problem with her chin... I guess I noticed a bit of that but then again I am not the best critic over art. YOu are welcome
