Concept
The original intention behind this piece was simply to tell a dear friend without words, that I was and will be there for her always. The easiest way to do that is to simply use symbols or people that we both tend to associate ourselves with, or in this case colors that are commonly used by us in rp characters but on an angel and a demon. Why an angel and a demon? Welp, I like drawing wings.

Medium
I'm a big fan of mixed medium to create the texture I need at the time. In this case the skin was pencil. The bat wings are actually watercolor, I was working at the time on seeing how well I could blend together two different mediums to where you can't tell where one begins and the other ends. The red wings are watercolor, as is the girl's red hair, but the black hair is just ink. The background is watercolor.

Side note
Yes this is another older piece. I noticed that it wasn't uploaded in my gallery when I was going through the art for necronomicon. I'm not sure WHY it's not uploaded, but I like this piece a great deal and so opted to reload it. New art will be coming once I move but I hope you all don't mind me reloading the older pieces that seem to have gotten lost to my gallery.
