Because it's 2 am and apparently I can't sleep. So what do I do, I turn one of my friends into a fairy. A flower fairy. A magnolia flower fairy to be exact. Totally inspired by Sarah constantly drawing fairies at me = = I'll get you for this my pretty. And your little ... uh... dolls too!ANYWAY.
Star Guava is © of course. And it doesn't show on the scan but there's an iridescent medium mixed in with the paints so it's got kind of a shimmery shiney glittery effect going on. It's nifty. NIFTY I SAY

This is really wonderful and I wish that the DARN scanner didn't kill the glittery sparkling effect. 
My inspiration ALWAYS strikes at night time when I try to sleep, but I have to obey it by drawing the idea down on paper to get it to stop bugging me. I know how that is. 
I love magnolia flowers too & they're so lovely to paint in watercolors.

This is a beautiful Guava!! I love the attidude that comes off her expression and I really like the pose too. Her hair is so lovely!! I enjoy watercolors so much and you did such a wonderful job here! I like the face a lot and also the fingers and hair and just well...everything haha!

Thank you so much! Guava totally always makes me think of like... a supermodel (the good kind, the really smart and awesome kind). With that spunky attitude and pose, so I was totally trying for something like that.
