okay from now on all the wips are going in the scraps since I have several friends wanting updates as I go. Cause at least two of them think that gold leafing a painting totally can't work. I'm out to prove them wrong. Yeah baby.btw, this is the sunrise, which is why her colors are more muted then I originally intended. I am seriously thinking about doing the sunset as a counter part to this painting.

Gold leafing can totally work! And you are definitely proving that. It's very tasteful. It's not all cheesey looking or poorly done. Nice job!
