The sense of nostalgia in this photograph is amazing!
The lighting is spot on, rendering the subject in a certain light designed to tug at the heart-strings. The way the light created deep shadows in her hair while highlighting certain tresses almost like the strokes of a paintbrush is astounding.
The way the subject herself is positioned: eyes downcast yet chin raised, speaks of a demure yet proud nature, captured perfectly in this medium.
The choice of clothing both in color and fabric did well to accentuate skin tone add to the overall sense of nostalgia.
While I'm not a big fan of "fuzzy" pictures, I completely understand the look the artist was going for in her work and would love to see more as time progresses.
