I really wasn't sure what gallery to put this in but decided on spontaneous because thats how it really was I guess. I actually won a "highly commended" award for this a while ago. What I like most about this portrait is the way she is just about to smile. To me it symbolises happiness, that people (especially children) don't need alot of material things to make them happy, I mean she's having a bath in the sink and she is still happy.Please give comments on what you think about this portrait and what it means to you.

I really like this one, it has a large element of trust in it for me also. Having the child content and relaxed while we observe how fragile children are and how trustful they are of us to provide them will all the support they need.
