Description Life learns you lessons, lessons lack loving,
Class does not cause thought, only thoughts shoving.
Knowledge is fed from the womb to our death beds,
False truths made facts as word of mouth does spread.
Listen to the old wives who tell their tales,
As they say, knowledge never ever fails.
Walk not under ladders, across black cats,
Tread on a paths crack and you'll wed a rat.
A watched pot never boils? Oh, what a line!
It does stew, it just takes more of thoughts time.
Don't pull faces, they just might stick around,
Like swallowed gum to your heart it's bound.
So there are the more ridiculous notions ,
Floating around in our minds own ocean.
But what of the tales meant to assist us?
To set up the pieces of our lives thus?
Healthy life and warnings supplied by house wives
Helping the race to dominate and survive
Child, eat your apple, wake not the doctor,
If you do, there's no need for a proctor.
Apples do not fall too far from the tree,
Chinese whispers change in circles of three.
If every cloud has a silver lining,
Then what are these minor lies defining?
Our own faith in our own races chances,
Thinking that we can control our romances.
By obeying rules we set for our self,
Saying life's in the stars, a book on a shelf.
Taking no blame for our own mistakes,
Charging misfortune for what it 'takes'.
So do not believe all of what you hear,
I'll give you advice, if you give me your ear.
Knowledge is fed from the womb to our death beds,
False truths are made facts by inventive heads.
They raise us and save us with lying smiles,
Those wives have this knowledge all of the while.
The worlds a cradle to nurse you to death,
The whole worlds a graveyard so hold your breath.
