When i see Levi's anime eyes (especially in ACWNR) they look Downturned, so i figured he should have them realistically, and with his constant eyebrow creasing he looks so sad all the time haha.
Everything else was just a ton of trial and error until i felt his face deemed fit.

And man I've actually lost my motivation to continue drawing everyone realistically because of Trixdraws's art. Have you seen it? I'm sure you have, who hasn't? Lol
Anyway, Yea, so many love her adaptations and i do too so I'm just like, "eh the Fandom doesn't need my interpretations of the characters, they already have Trix's art." And with other wonderful adaptations of other characters like Eren and Bertholdt from many other artists, i feel like my art is unnecessary. :/ ... Yea I've been in a slum lately ha.

I have an Armin, and Eren is halfway finished. I failed at Connie so I'm redoing him lol. But I haven't worked on any females yet. Shocking really I didn't realize until recently. O.O

Aw, no, don't be in a slum! I've seen Trix's art, but I find yours equally as good! The works are special and unique in their own ways, and they should be, since you and Trix are separate individuals interpreting the same character (actually, I would be completely put-off if they were identical), but omg, nooooo, don't feel unnecessary! THE WORLD NEEDS MORE AMAZING SNK ART! You are fucking talented and skilled and you should draw/paint what makes you happy and fuck others because you are just as important (and awesome)! 

...I kind of feel like this could turn violent now, so I'm gonna stop here.

The point is, you can't think like that. I used to feel that way, too, when I found this one amazing SnK writer, cherrypikkins, you've probably heard of her since she fucking rocks, and I kept thinking 'omg, I'm never gonna be that good, her stories are just everything and I should just quit' but then it kind of turned into 'OMG I HAVE TO IMPROVE AND BE JUST AS GOOD I'M GONNA BE THE MOST AWESOME WRITER EVER'. ...I'm definitely not the most awesome writer ever, but I love the effort I put into trying to be one since at the end of the day I write because it makes me happy.  

The bottom line is that you like making art, and you should continue doing it for the joy it brings you, and trust me that there will be more than one person along the way who will enjoy what you make just as much as you do. If that makes sense.

Lmao!!! I thought the exact same thing about wanting be the most awesome artist ever. My mind kept switching from "Hell yes imma get this shit done, and people will love it and it'll be all over tumblr and I'll just be fucking awesome!!!!!"
To: "Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what's the point, nobody will see it. I'm too lazy to even paint clothes. Blah blah blah"

Have you heard about "The Real" exhibition coming up in Japan? Where the characters are life like and have tian sized eren and annie?
I got so nervous because my levi is nothing like the official levi they have, so i felt like a failure.
But i still like my Levi.
And doing fanart like this is great practice too.

*sigh* Being creative is tough but it's worth it when someone can enjoy an escape from admiring your work.

Yeah, but I kind of find their Levi (from the exhibition)... fugly. :/ I dunno, he's not like I pictured him at all, I like him nice and hot and not all... weird. o.O That's why artists like you are here, to satisfy us fans when the official art fails to.

I don't like his eyes. I think they are too long for normal eyes. Are human eyes even that long? It looks like they kept the anime style, and where are the eyelids? Haha But when i first saw him i immediately thought Edward Furlong! It looks just like him.

And i first created my DA in high school while I was obsessed with Tokio Hotel, so the TH in my name is for them, but a lot of people usual see it as Jessicath.....lol
And since I'm trying to branch out with my art i feel i need a different one.

Yes, the eyes are freaky! And the nose a little bit... It's weird because it doesn't resemble a normal person and it's clearly not a 2D drawing and so it's just kind of a mess o.O

Oh, haha, nah, I thought maybe the TH was a part of your last name... Never would've guessed it was for Tokyo Hotel (though I see you're a fan, from your artwork ). I also created this acc like 7yrs ago, but believe me when I say I have absolutely no idea why I chose this name. Kind of sounded neat? I dunno. :/

Anyway, keep posting more art and communicating with ppl, you never know when you might run into someone to give you premium
