Description

aymish was always hard at work down on his father's homestead for… well ever since he could remember! Not that he ever minded he quiet liked the work and all the pocket money that came with it! he liked to save his coin here and there for the day he was deemed old enough to leave the country side for one day and head to the village. A old country tradition, a right of passage if you will and for Haymish it was the exciting prospect of leaning new things and meeting new faces that was most exciting for him.

He heard whispers, around the small community and other farming families about him that the day was to be soon!

Growing into his fur en horns like his pa had when he first went to down filled Haymish with pride, he was to be a strapping young man like his pa when he went to town~

When his very own pa told him the news one day he was beside himself! He was told to wait a week so he could head down on a Sunday when the countryside came to rest, when the community would come to rest and would spend most of the day relaxing as they should!

His pa had even told him he had written to lotugi, the villages moomy, to ask if he could lodge there for a week. When he tilted his head in confusion his pa only smiled and told him of the wounders of Fogsong and if he scooted along he'd make it just in time to witness the spectacle.

He worked extra hard that week! He wanted to help his pa as much as he could before he'd been gone a whole week!

He wanted to chop all the wood, bring plenty of water up to the house and barns, harvest and preserve all the garden crops.. since he had no mommy to do it for them and his pa struggled sometimes.

He worked himself ragged most times often ending up in a field by a rock or a tree deep in slumber when he'd only meant to be resting a while…

Life was busy but life was good.
