This is absolutely breath-taking. The colors, the pose, everything is so fluid
and brilliantly put together. I especially adore the line-work here, and how well
it goes with the overall piece.

Ahhhhhh Lori, thank you so much for those compliments, and taking the time to voice your thoughts on the piece! I was really trying to get a sense of movement and, really play around with those warm, saturated colors of a proper sunset- which I've never drawn before. Mmm, and during sketching, the lined background just sort of- happened, and I loved it so much, I kept it in the final piece!
I still don't know how you manage to do your backgrounds so well though, I always find them absolutely stunning, and gorgeous to look at ;D;
