I love Tangled, and this was one of my favorite scenes, though drawing the lanterns isn't as pleasant as watching them. So I simplified them a bit It still turned out pretty nice.

I love how you went about making the lanterns! mmm, I hate drawing repetitive images, so I would also opt out of making the EXACT shapes. I also like how the light from the lanterns seems to slightly reflect on Rapunzel. I loved this movie too! heh, Disney is classic~

thank you! the glowing effect turned out nicely since the purple is a bit less harsh if you saw the drawing in person, but yeah, I drew a few of them and was like nope. It's just tedious. I'll love Disney til I'm an old lady haha

you're welcome! hah, hate it how everytime I photograph a drawing (though mine aren't quite as detailed and schnazzy as yours...yet!) the shading and colors don't come out QUITE right! the purple looks fine btw! and yaaa, Disney girl, you gotta love them Disney movies!
