To be honest, at that point i didn't understand it either, I was really open minded, and tried to do what people asked and finish act one, though I hear many people skip the first few acts, which I wouldn't recommend. You don't have to read it, the first several acts are rather meh, And you tend to have to read them over time, but I guess the artist got better at writting, or maybe the story built up, but it does get better.

To reiterate the point I'm sure many, many people will make: It's not actually a game; you generally want to make it to the second act before you write it off completely; and you want to set aside a few days, possibly a week in order to get fully caught up on it.

Wait...play...were you playing the weird beta flash thing? Because it's actually a webcomic. And while it does start out relatively silly, making fun of video games and all that, it gets reaaaaly good. There's a reason so many people are obsessed with it.
