Nice, a great bird. Being a relative noob to wildlife photography, I have much to shoot for the first time, and game birds are high on my wishlist

You already have many great captures! I used to see so many game birds when I lived up north, they are much harder to find in my area! I find that the best chance to spot them in fall is in the morning around 10 am when the sun is starting to warm things up they will make an appearance and in the late afternoon/early evening. In the middle of the day they hide out in some pretty dense brush.

Northern Harrier (check). Rough legged Hawk because they are migrating through the area(check)
And I managed to get a flight shot if a great blue heron that morning as well( they will be gone soon. Missed seeng any black crowned night herons as I believe they have migrated already.
