Description Started playing through the first "The Darkness" game again recently (don't get me started on the 'sequel'...), and decided to draw Jenny.

I guess this is pretty random. It was kinda fast and simple, too. I had a lot of fun with it, though!

I like it! You should do more colored pictures!)

I really think I should, too, but it's pretty time consuming, and a lot easier to mess up.
I do like big colorful pictures, though...

...but small cartoony sketches and linework come a lot more naturally to me, so I end up doing that a lot of the time. Even if I should be more diverse.

Glad you like it, though!

Well yes. Colored pictures take more time but they're worth it. Recently I watched video with painting process by artist from blizzard, it was cool and inspiring. He was doing lineart and color work at the same time.

That can be tricky to do. Especially if you're as unpracticed as I am. Hahaha

I would like to grab some new brushes and mess with more colored work, though. Or at least some more greyscaled stuff.

Grayscale is great too. So why not?)

As for brushes. Try "blur's good brushes". Amazing pack, highly recommended.

I have a much easier time with Greyscale, too. But haven't used it a lot, either. I just know I need to mess with stuff like that more often. Things that I know I can do, but I still don't really have a lot of finished works around to show that I can.

I'll look into the brushes when I get a chance, too! It is noted     "!"

Haha, a VERY beautiful work!
I really like the face shadings and small details like the shiny piercing! ^^

Woo! Glad you like it, too! I spent a long time trying not to mess up some of that stuff. It's amazing how badly the picture can look with just one thing slightly out of place. But I'm happy with it right now! Not perfect, but pretty good, I think!

Yup. I'm almost to the end with where I left off in my newest save. As soon as I saw the Jenny scene, I just stopped and started drawing. Hahaha
