Well, this is an interesting development. So last time I said I was going to have the two anthro Eevees be drawn out in Blender's Grease Pencil, but, although I didn't say, I also had the idea of making them into 3D as well. But after posting the sketch of the two and taking a moment to break and ponder, I've found myself more interested in skipping Grease Pencil and just going straight into making the two Eevees into 3D, whom I've affectionately christened Gus and Rosie.

It has been a long while since I've done anything in Blender, and although I haven't abandoned it necessarily, I've felt more motivated to do drawings than modeling (although admittingly the motivation wasn't all that high. But I digress...). But I admit I've found myself missing modeling out characters from scratch, crappy as they were. But after taking time to learn a few interesting techniques, and accepting the fact that my models are always going to be terrible, I've found myself somewhat re-energized to go back into Blender.

I've actually tried some new things in Blender, most notably the Sculpting tool ..."tried" being the keyword. I haven't found it all that helpful. Though I haven't given up on it entirely, I'm going to shelve that for a better time.

However, perhaps in the attempt to get myself more prepped for cartoon shading (again), I did try basically drawing lines on the Eevees' overalls and apron, to give some minor detail. Rather unusual but I think it works. Actually, to be fair, I have been pondering on trying to drawing on textures to add details, so consider this a start of that idea.

All in all, they turned out...eh, it's okay. To be honest their faces are the only thing I'm very disappointed in. However I'm not technically finished, I just wanted to show off what I have of them so far.
