I actually only started this in fitting rooms. I finished the rest of him during my lunch and added the red and pink once I got home.This time I played around more with shadowing. His hand turned out awesome for being done with pen. My only regret is that I can't find a decent color for his skin! Oh well, he still turned out great!! I swear I'm getting better with pen. (But I will still only use it when I have no access to a pencil and eraser)
I admit, though, that I did really enjoy this.

I had a orange highlighter, but I'm afraid that its going to ruin it. So I left it this way. (I need good pens...)

I may never post my drawing art again; it all looks like something I stepped in at a county fair, compared to what you're doing.
Story - I was maneuvering quite well around some horse droppings on the road to the animal pens, and someone I was with commented on it. I mean, it was a rare example of me showing form and grace; not even looking down, it was as though I had a radar for it, and was avoiding the piles masterfully.
So I commented, "Well, it's not so hard, we're in the area, and you just have to know where to step."
No sooner had the words left my mouth, then, SPLAT! I stepped into the BIGGEST pile on the road, splattering it further.
Even I had a good laugh out of it.
So with that said, I still say you're doing GREAT! He's definitely Sonic, and the shading is still good.
Now, let's see what you can do with Luca using a pen.

Isn't it funny when, as soon as you mention how well you're doing, you mess up?
*groans*
Heheheh... I should try to record myself drawing. The way I draw Luca and the way I draw Sonic is relatively different. Luca has so many guides that I must erase afterwards, that it looks terrible in pen. Sonic, on the other hand, I am able to draw all his key traits without any guides. (Except a circle for his head, but the colors cover it)
(Sorry for not reading today. Was very busy. I may be unable to tomorrow, due to my work hours...)

There are people who set up a channel showing themselves drawing. By the way, did you see my question about using a drawing tablet?
Oh man, work stinks ... I was hoping you'd be able to see it because the next chapter is going up Saturday or Sunday. I don't want you to see that and stop reading/commenting
