Collagraph- A2 sizeThis image is made by carving and etching into a plastic board. I also collaged materials to it ( tapes, paint, nail polish, spray paint). The collaged plastic board is then covered in ink and polished. Whilst the ink is still wet, the collage plate is pressed onto paper with an etching press. This is the result.

these are sweet man! i am just doing up my first collagraph this week for a print making class. you have some really cool textures and shapes! what have you used for the whites? plastic surfaces?

hi , thank you . The whites are achieved with plastic tapes, nail polish, lacquers and acrylic paint . Β The plastic surface is PVC board, its a material that builders use to insulate houses.
