Thx! I had to use a lot of reference of the actual character to finish this one. His hair is insane! @.@

I really couldn't tell you how long it took.

I actually did that one while I was Seattle. I went there during the summer between my junior and senior year of high school for a 3d animation program from Nintendo. It lasted 2 weeks and it was just me and my brother there. (he came with me cause I was 17 at the time ) I had class on the weekdays so when I got back at night there was pretty much nothing to do, so I drew a lot.

If I had to guess I'd say it probably took me 4-5 hours.

The time you spent was well worth it. It turned out amazing! Going on a trip like that sounds amazing! I did the same thing when we went on a motorhome trip. I sat and drew pictures on the back bed. I love drawing to pass the time. It's great when you get into that "art zone" as I like to call it and time passes in a flash and the funny thing is that I sometimes forget even to eat when I'm in the zone. But the minute I stop drawing a 4 or 5 hours later, I'm starving. ^^ Are you thinking of designing characters for Nintendo?

The trip was really fun. The class was awesome and I basically got sit on the computer for like 7 hours and just play around making 3D stuff. I did a lot of cool things with my brother too on the weekends.

And I definately know the "art zone". I've kinda been in one myself lately, which is partially why I'm up so late. (it's almost 4 here. XD)

Right now I'm not exactly sure what I want do. I was in the Game Art and Design at my college for about 2 and a half years, but I recently stopped going there cause I was just fed up with the school. So right now I'm just trying to make some money and figure out what exactly I want to do and where I want to go. Hopefully by the beginning of next year tho I'll be back in school somewhere. Until then I'm just trying to keep the artistic jucies flowing.

That sounds so cool! I bet you learned a lot about 3D art.

I totally understand the not quite knowing what you want to do. I'm kind of stuck in the same quagmire right now. I really want to do either art, law (a disability lawyer because I want to help people get what they need from the government if they cant work), or become a therapist of some kind. Maybe a physical therapist? I don't really know. I know those three things are all kind of on opposite ends of the spectrum, but I guess I'm just interested in a variety of different things. ^^ I'm hoping that I'll take a class and get the "that's it" feeling and know what I want to do.

I'd better get to bed, though because it's 2:00 here. I have definitely enjoyed chatting with you. You're right; this is definitely on of the many perks that makes DA so amazing.

Lol not really XD We really didn't actually learn that much, it was more like, we'll have students show you some really basic stuff and you can go and mess around in the program. It was still fun regardless.

And that is a pretty wide spectrum! haha It's good tho to leave yor options open, and I'm sure you'll know once you figure it out.

And goodnight! maybe we can continue this conversation antoher day!

Well, at least you got some practice in 3D and it was fun.

I hope I can figure it out soon. But whatever I end up doing, I will definitely be keeping up on my art on the side (unless I make art my profession).

Yes. Definitely another day. Possibly today.

Yeah, it definately made me more interested and got my feet wet a little.

And that's good that you're going to keep up on your art. It could easily be a nice little hobby if you don't choose to do something in the art field.

Definitely. And I've always loved art. It is what I do with my spare time. I couldn't ever see giving it up completely.
