And now for something different.A picture of my brother Chris's "wing" tattoo. Unbeknown to me, he found out about Steampunk on his own and had the guts to get this awesome metal wing tattoo that extends just a few inches out when he wears short sleeves to "add some mystery" so he says.
small conversation:
me: "Isn't it required to report it when you get a Tattoo?"
him: "Not for officers :]"
Notice they're playing a card game when I sniped it. I blame my older brothers (who are twins) for my lapse into other nerdish activities, such as joining in as fodder for a rousing game of Magic The Gathering. Or watching marathons of Star Trek/Babylon 5/Battlestar Galactica while making fun of the characters and trashtalking each other's tastes XD
Chris was the one who started all the model building in our house.
He and my other brother Brian are undoubtedly Trekkies, and then some.
I find it kind of loltastic that he's stationed to the U.S.S. Enterprise out of Norfolk.
I can't wait for christmas when he hopefully comes back, and we can play more MTG. And watch Gundam.

Funnily enough, Trek is way more fun to marathon, even though B5 is the one with a single coherent story arc. Not that I've put myself to the test. I just know. ;Þ

I usually have a "meh" opinion of tattoos, but something like this was soo unexpected and artistic that I was blown away! I wish I could have taken more photos, but he was actually having a bad reaction (last injection of color just before he flew over) and there was a slim window of opportunity with no rashes/breakouts.
and haha I know! Trek is more a group marathon even if it's episodic. I was only able to catch bits and pieces of B5 because I have night classes and he was watching with his BFF. That show is Ridiculously Dramatic. I kind of like some of the politics but I can't handle the cheese XD;
And we specifically were marathoning Voyager, since I'd never seen the the beginning of the story.
It's so fun trashtalking some of the characters with them, even though I love a lot about Voyager. Sometimes my dear Janeway is just... "Let's solve every moral ambiguity in his quadrant while on the long trek home

I believe he's also the show's Punching Bag. Basically the one character who gets shot, kidnapped, infected, and "killed" more than any other.
TOS had Chekov, TNG had LaForge, DS9 had O'Brien, and ENT had Tucker (gotta be the yellow uniform)
