Watched this 65 ep SciFi/Western'86 series recently & enjoyed.
Even close to references, it took a while to do, & I was away for Thanksgiving weekend.

Niko's the lead heroine: smart, athletic, heroic, & sensitive. She has psychic powers.
I went with her simpler look without belt gear & the straps, but included her wrist communicator.

The cybernetic horses are in some episodes. They can talk, and have impressive designs.
Also included one of their spaceships.

Shane 'Goose' Gooseman (portrait) is another main character along with two others.
He's a genetically engineered 'Supertrooper', able to heal, shapeshift, & more.
Inspired by Clint Eastwood. He and Niko have some chemistry.

They didn't tie up a loose end of the story by the end.  But it was a great US/Japan collab.
