It would be pretty cool to see Vile get some real decent revenge. I mean, I like the protagonists and all in the X series, but I've always had a lot of respect for the Mavericks. They make such sense to me. Vile is a pretty good representation of what I'd like to see more vividly depicted in the games; violent rage against humanity.

The way I saw it was that the violent rage against humanity was a bonus, and that Vile just wanted to mess with X.
By mind f***k or dismemberment, whatever came first.

I think official cannon has it the other way around, but meh, fictional things are awesome in that way we can interpret them in whatever way we choose and it doe3sn't really matter. Whatever floats your boat.
