Please go to my page and like it...I put most of my updates and WIP stuff on there (prints for sale 1 for $15,2 for $20 and 3 for $25)... www.facebook.com/pages/Jeuro-A…I liked the idea of a angel demon hybrid....believe it or not there isn't a word for such a thing. When I looked for works to get ideas from, most people just split something that was half "light" and half "dark" in half literally. I wanted to make a more realistic mixture. Something with elements of both sides; beauty and white wings from the light and demonic red eyes and hair black as coal from the dark.

This is a wonderful piece that is eye-catching and beautiful to look at. The main idea of this picture is interesting and executed well, it shows both characteristics of a demon and an angel well without looking cluttered or over the top; it is balanced. The use of colour in this mostly grey tone drawing is brilliant as it shows the demon concept without being too dramatic, it is subtle and does not take away the impact of the angels wing. The face is drawn well and looks proportioned- eyes a good distance apart, nose a good size for face etc. The only slight problem with this drawing is the way the clevage is drawn, the line of the clevage should not go all the way along to the arm, if it was just a fraction shorter it would be perfect! Overall this is a wonderful piece with an interesting concept and is striking to look at.

this is amazing! I love how you worked out the shadows and how you created that depth, thats missing in a lot od pictures *_*
But a bit more shadows into the feathers would be even more amazing!

thank you...That is the first time I have drawn wings/feathers so it is something I need to improve on...I kinda just draw by ear if that makes sense. Glad you liked it though I appreciate the compliment
