I've been having this idea of anatomical proportions. The mecha there is a little plus++ since robotics are always fun to draw. This one doesn't have a model or reference. Illustrated from imagination. As for the background... That's an outline of Snake Island. Yes, it exists.

A little more info, this is one of my conversions from a traditional sketch into digital media. I have a little trouble with expressing good blending but 'm still exploring... Someday, I'll get there.
