At least he has a few shining moments in the manga. In one part of the manga Ranma tries to defeat Mousse and when he thinks Mousse is done for, he springs back to life like some kind of demon complete with eyes with no pupils. ranma looks like he peed his pants when that happens. Eventually Ranma gives up and Mousse actually goes on a date with shampoo (that never happens in the anime). But he totally blows it by taking her to a "haunted house" attraction.

I always thought he had a chance in the manga. He doesn't quite come off as pathetic as he does sometimes in the anime. Poor Mousse

I think it hapens in either Volume 27 or Volume 28. It's a bit different for me because i got the entire manga collection on a bootleg CD hahahaha

On my manga CD, Volumes 1-16 were taken from the Viz graphic novels. But the disc was originally made back in 2001 and back then Viz had only gone up to Volume 16. Starting with 17, the manga was translated by an independent group who translated it from the original Japanese comic books. Surprisingly I think they did a better job that Viz because the translating is great and they kept the original comic book art that Viz leaves out.

Yeah. Comic book cover art from the original Shonen Sunday comic books. Viz tended to leave those out to save money on printing the graphic novels.

Oye, and I actually bought half of them at that price. 
They're 10 dollars now, but I kept buying the 15 dollar ones just cause I wanted them all to look the same. :rolleyes:
