Yes - it's a festival - and I'm ashamed to say, being born and raised here, that I don't know WHY they celebrate it LOL!!! I will try to find out and let you know - or you can look it up on line I'm sure Glad you like it - thanks so much for the fav!!!

OH SORRY! It's a carnival celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana that is done every year in February - it's kinda famous here in the US! People dress up, get drunk and stupid and they throw beads and such from floats. I haven't been since I was a small child (LOL) - it's really crazy these days. Women flash their boobs, men pee in the streets - really nuts LOL! If I can find a good website for you to check out I'll let you know - IF you're interested - the artwork for the posters is REALLY COOL!!
