The old pic was originally a 2016 Inktober challenge in an old sketchbook of mine, but I liked it so much, I ended up drawing it digitally around the beginning of 2017.
I don't have much to say for this one, given it's fairly simple with shading and the overall concept. So let me just end this with a note that the salmon-peach ballet slippers seem to work much better than the original mauve-like color I chose for the original. Also I forgot to shade his feet...

Nice and simple and I like the use of shading here! Comparing it to the original the linework has especially improved; and I love the addition of the roses, it gives it a nice touch. Adorable as always!

I'm thinking it'd be kinda like Circus or Doctor, both kinda oddball abilities I didn't much care for. Except this would be going all in on moving Kirby around in dazzling leaps and twirls to damage enemies.

I agree, Circus and Doctor weren't the best abilities, though the two were equally cute in design. But Ballet sounds so cute, moveset wise! I'd pick the ability every time to see Kirby twirl across the stage
