You know, I have a strange feeling that I think Mr. & Mrs. Cake are Pinkie-Pie's uncle and aunt.
Think about it:
*Pinkie lives with them
*Mrs. Cake has pink hair like Pinkie's (so I'm guessing she's sisters with Pinkie's mom)
*They seem to take care of her (like how Granny-Smith takes care of her grandchildren).
