Not sure what I'm doing with my life, but I like it.

Name: Axis
Age: 18
Height: 6’1”
Faction: warriors

History: A young man who has chosen to abandon his family name and don the title of “Axis”. His past is not marked with harrowing experiences or hardships; in fact, he lived quite a comfortable life until the day his father failed to come home. Axis was 16 when his world shattered; his mother slipped into an abrupt delusion in which she had a constant conversation with Axis’ missing father, Axis had to give up the girl of his dreams in order to take care of his ailing mother and pay for the ever-increasing taxes. He never really thought much of it, accepting his fate as readily as anyone ever could. In fact, good things did happen; his Vibrava, Terra, which he has caught as a Trapinch many years ago, evolved into a Flygon. His mother’s Mawile, Cella, helped take care of her while he focused on working. His hard work paid off and earned the respect of the rest of the community. He had humble dreams. He had simple aspirations.
Just as everything seemed to come in place, Axis encountered a Sawk who presented himself as “Scio”. Knowing that a hostile group of Throh was roaming the area, Axis found it strange that a lone Sawk would be wandering about. The two became enveloped in a light conversation that soon took a turn, perhaps, for the better. Scio simply asked Axis; “What is your legacy?”
Immediately, Axis’ hopes for the future became obscure and he began to ponder the Pokemon’s words. On the anniversary of his father’s death, Axis came home to find his mother dead, having ingested a bottle of poison. Rather than mourn the loss of his second parent, Axis took it upon himself to take Cella and Terra with him on a journey of self-discovery. As he began travelling, Scio joined him. Axis soon found himself competing to become a member of the Knights faction.

Personality: Axis is smarter than he gives himself credit for, but naivety and a blind trust for anyone he’s barely begun to know hinder him immensely. Though he was once a docile man, he has resolved to become more bold and unyielding. The whereabouts or fate of his father still dance around the edges of his purpose, though he claims his determined attitude to be in part because of Scio’s words. In a tense situation, he tries to be the voice of reason, the stoic entity that helps find a solution rather than hinder it. For his patience, he is slow to anger, and quick to forgive, though his memory remains a vivid stain that affects him throughout the day.
Flaws: He has many unspoken crushes for the females in his life. He owns a generic sword that he named Forte, but has no extensive training with the weapon; it's not so much that he can't brandish it, but he tenses up and becomes nervous whenever engaged in combat, be it practice, or for real.

Pokemon Info:
Terra- Flygon
Raised from a Trapinch, Terra is Axis’ loyal companion. Through thick and thin, she has always been there to support him when everyone else seems to back out. She credits herself for being the ‘voice of truth’ between the two and will often become enraged while he remains peaceful. Her favorite move is screech, which she uses to call attention to herself. If the Medieval folk had a word to describe a diva, they would use it as a brand for Terra.
Macellarious -Mawile
She was to Axis’ mother as Terra is to Axis. She is a coy Mawile that prides herself in ‘finding’ things and making the most out of nothing. While Axis’ mother was slowly becoming delusional, she kept order in their small family and became a replacement mother for Axis. She is the oldest member of the party, but is young at heart, tending to toy with friends and foes alike before coming in for an intimate interaction.
Scio –Sawk
Scio is a hermit who is training his mind and body for what he calls ‘enlightenment’. His viewpoints are nothing less than oriental and for one as strong as he is, he is perhaps the most level-headed. He knows when to strike in both a battle and conversation and is not easily surprised. He does not have a pokeball and has not admitted to the fact that Axis is his trainer. His attack style is more of a bide and counter tactic, rather than to unleash all of his power at once, though he prides himself in knowing the powerful move, close combat.
