well he would be in true form kinda rough, not realizing he would hurt the kid like frisk in this picture here

but when he is really hungry or really boisterous he would also attack children in true, maybe even in normal form

Darn. I thought it would be cute to see him acting defensive/protective of a kid in true Xans form, attacking everything else but the kid.
Kinda like those pets who won't let anyone touch a human kid, even the parents. XD
Heck, from that point of view, a kid could easily become bait for something that Xans has no problem attacking and eating. XD

well he can be like that protective animal if there is another danger or when he is more calm
then he acts like this protector you described also in true!form, just still with a hint of crazieness

I did. Dangerous for the kid, but still rather cute. Though this poor child will probably be lucky to survive such an encounter... Xans would probably be sad and devestated if he hurt the kid or, worse, killed her once he snapped out of his True! state.... What would he do? Bury what remains of her body?
