How did you create it? I can't really tell what medium it was done with. Either a very processed photo or oil paintin or maybe done with a tablet. I'm dying to know! please do tell. Atleast a hint.

Yet another wonderful piece that's made it into my fav's gallery. (And I'll tell you, my French is _just barely_ good enough to get the general idea of your explaination of how you worked this piece so that I don't have to ask you to repeat it in English. 
The subtle colors seem to be what really sets the period of this shot, though the wardrobe and the hair work just as hard towards that end. You choice of environments is a perfect emulation of a studio from that period (very late 1800's, early 1900's, no?). Mehndelson, Sands, and Renoir would be quite proud.
