Thank you for your kind words!Β
You draw horses beautifully as well. I admire your skills with pastels. Β I have yet to try them, but I have heard (and have seen) that it's a great medium for horses. Β It is my goal to master that medium one day.

I'm just worried that they will smear or smudge. Β Because when I'm done with my art it goes in a big black porfolio, but my art lies ontop of each other. Β Eh I prob need a new system. Β But how do you keep it from smudging? Β

Ah, yeah you would need to store it separately or put something between them. Most people use tracing paper to protect the pastel, or plastic sheets. Also you can get fixative spray that reduces the chance of smearing/smudging, although sometimes it can make the colours darker/yellowy. I use TreSemme hair spray instead of proper fixative and it works really well!

I used to, I've been meaning to start back up. Β I didn't really understand the whole black pearl process. Do you need passes to enter?

And now? Do you get it? The black pearl costs 2 passes but you get it back when your creation didn't make it

Haha there are a couple, but none are too popular. Not enough artists to contribute to it and such. When I'm a better artist I might create one and dedicate it to the amazingness of Friesians <3

The feathers are def more of a characteristic of the friesian (but lighter feathering than say a clyde or a shire). I personally favor the chunkier friesians but have also seen lighter friesians around. Beautiful drawing. c:

I myself like the feathered legs! Β I haven't had the chance to see a friesian in person though to know if feathered legs are common for them.
I've been drawing too many Arabians lately and it was so nice to draw a thick neck and a non-dished face!
