Because I'm an Avatard. Seriously.

Inspired by the greatness of the likes of *Irrel and ~Katsari-chan , I've been playing around with the idea of doing an AU Avatar fancomic. This, like the title says, is the prologue page - after this, we'll jump right into the real story, and yall will get to see just how AU it is ;D That is, if I decide to actually do this. If not, this was at least a good exercise, both in comics and in Photoshop. ^_^

In the second and last frames, that's just... some... Avatar... Maybe Roku, maybe someone else. It really doesn't matter And in the fourth frame, that person who looks suspiciously like Sokka... isn't Sokka. Like, not at all. But we've jokingly decided that the person crying over that person who's not Sokka is in fact my sister ~Jaqq .

Specs:
Took me about a day, including the hand-sketches that the computer-drawings are based on. The map in the first panel is courtesy of AvatarSpirit.net (I think... I got it a while ago...) and was altered slightly since the characters at the top and bottom were messing up the legibility of the text.

Edit: Removed the MC warning. I think it was scaring off some people, and it's not like this page is really gorey... it's got about the level of blood you might see in a realistic-ish cartoon. Neh
