Been having some viking, doing a few boats and such, small scale. Finished a few off but hope to start some more, I really enjoyed doing them.

Nice, but they would have taken the cross boom and the sail down.
All that weight up there will cause the centre of gravity to shift upward, so the boom and the sail has to come down and be secured.

Thanks, yeah I don't paint them like that anymore   I still cringe to think I did it that way :/

That critique feature makes me shy. lol!

I can totally tell they're fighting against the wind. I think there could be some signs of weathering on the boat, but the shape is well done. The water, sky, and rolled up sail are my favorite parts.

Dammit that's right, I didn't put salt stains on the boat...I did think of it halfway through painting darnit!
Don't be shy! Your critiques are always good, spot on, you can get your point across in a nice way.

Well, now you won't be forgetting those salt stains!
And I'm glad I give good critiques. My qualm w/ the new critique feature is that it demands so much MORE in-depthness and rating. I'm having enough trouble as it is nit-picking at your work so that you have something to improve on.
