I have a rabbit much like this. I dug it up out of a closet two years ago and presented it to my mother. She kept it.

This piece reminds me of the fate of toys. They are created specifically to entertain us and when our expectations are driven elsewhere, we simply discard them without a second thought, forgetting all the joy they once brought into our lives.
