For today's showcase, we will be taking a look at another Loud House character in a Kaiju Hero costume for Halloween. Clyde McBride, the Best Friend of Lincoln Loud, dressed as Godzilla's first opponent turned Best Friend Anguirus. As you can see, both character fit pretty well with each other as they have the same relationship with the main or titular character.

Now for the monsters history; Anguirus (or Angilas, Anzilla, Angurus, and in Japanese as Angirasu) is another monster from Toho's Godzilla that appears as Godzilla's first opponent in the 1955 sequel "Godzilla Raids Again", but later turned ally for Godzilla from 1968's "Destroy All Monsters" to 1974's "Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla" marking him as Godzilla's closest companions according to fans. Despite his close relationship with Godzilla, he reappears as a reset opponent for Godzilla in "Godzilla Final Wars" (2004) and made an appearance in three episodes of the Netflix anime "Godzilla: Singular Point". Design-wise, Anguirus is loosely based on the Ankylosaur (though he appears to be more of a Nodosaur to me since he lacked the tail club) and is one of Toho's first quadrupedal monsters to show up in the Godzilla film franchise, even though he is based on a herbivorous Dinosaur, he has a long crocodile like snout and long fangs protruding from the upper jaw, he also has a spiky frill and a nose horn which makes him look more like a Styracosaurus but still and Ankylosaur without a doubt.

Now for the artwork; It's the best I could do with Clyde's costume, the head of Anguirus is actually a cap to replicate the long Crocodile snout, I know he looks like he's naked, but I wanted to give him the appearance similar to the second generation of the same monster from 1968 as it is more recognizable to the fandom. I've added a spikey carapace on his back and a long spike tail so that way he will be more recognized as a character, the skin and costume match him though. Just like with the vendor of Lincoln, I used Clyde as a muse and slipped him on a costume...though it's not the best costume I made for him.
