I dont mean to bash the people who makes dragon ocs, and I do think some of them have great designs
but its just weird to see a lot of them wear hearing aids, its like its a mandatory for dragon ocs to have those just because lilac wears it o.o

I totally agree. It's just so weird how many of them look like Lilac in some way, especially with having the same short tail sometimes and having hearing aid pieces.
It's a shame when people refuse to have the creativity to think of something that goes outside of the character they get inspiration from, so they end up making copies of that character. Some are more exact copies than others but I'll definitely be happy when I see an FP dragon OC that isn't copying Lilac ins some way.

Well, Askal is a Mongrel, and not fully dragon, and it seems that his hearing is fine so I guess the defect only occurs at a certain time, and Lilac happens to be the 'lucky girl' who got the defect I guess when born as a hybrid, there is a risk of defection due to some genes not working out. Now that woukd be interesting xD
Plus, the only Pure dragon is Merga, and even then she is bio engineered which could mean that she is a modified dragon which makes her to appear different than regular dragons.
I guess its because at FP 1 Lilac is the only dragon that is shown (but then, there is the old dragon dude that is shown in the hologram, but I guess he didnt get enough attenttion 
But what Im confused about is, since that the base is from lilac, and lilac is actually a hybrid, wouldnt it clash with the ocs that were made to be Full dragons? So its like there is no difference between hybrid dragon and pure dragons (for example, both have those regular mammalian black triangle nose thing). Just have a two colored face (muzzle and forehead) and an earpiece, fullfill those criteria and boom! Dragon oc freedom planet is done.
Again Im not saying that its bad, and I really appreciate the effort to make the dragon ocs to be different than lilac as much as possible.
But this comes to the next question in my mind : why, out of all species, does it have to be dragons? Because : 1. Arent dragons almost extinct in FP? Which if there are a lot of dragons, that would kinda defy the way that dragons are rare in this universe.
2. I believe there are more animals rather than dragons, that have different roles in the society, and not all have to be heroes who saves the world or fight the bad guys. Im not saying that hero characters are bad, but wouldnt it be nice to see different roles? After all, the world doesnt always just revolve around the main trio aka team lilac who are heroes.
Also I see that some characters are either heroes/fighters, or member of the red scarfs, but oh well, who am I to judge XD but I cant help but wonder y know?
Aaaa again I dont want to seem like im bashing or anything ;o; those are just simply my thoughts after analyzing further ;o;

Also, anytime! Honestly, don't you worry! Even if people can relate to what's being discussed and questioned, people honestly should take offense since you're not "attacking" anyone, specifically XD Plus, people should know how other people think and feel. I find it admirable when people don't censor themselves for the sake of people who could take things to heart. I feel a lot of people are too afraid to speak their mind and poke their head from the crowd due to how people can take things way too personal, even if it's all just about fictional stuff lol

Hmm, we know that there are water dragons like lilac (half) and merga (bio engineered), half earth dragon like askal (by the way he also seems to wear an earpice, or was it just a headband/decoration? O.o) and what about cordelia? Was she supposed to be an earth dragon too? O.o
But it could be that there USED to be fire dragons, metal, wood(???) Wind, and many more~! And man that would be so cool!

I thought it was described somewhere that Lilac thought she was the last one? And that MergaΒ was just a bioengineered version of the dead race? Gosh, Lilac's nothing-like-a-dragon design is even more noticeable with every single other dragon and half-dragon we've seen, especially Askal. Β
Also, yes, I would love to learn more about dragons, their roles in the world, and how the world views their hybrids, overall. They don't seem very significant in the first game, though.

Probably the last WATER dragon I guess, not earth dragon or anything. Lol Askal definitely feels more dragon and dog ish I love how buff he is, but a different kind of buff from gong, gong is chubby buff, while askal is muscle buff xD
Probably like a bunch of engineers that brings the technology into avalice? It could be that avalice was kinda traditional and primitive but with the dragons settling in they learn more about technology
Plus, who else would be able to creat pangu and the holodragon monster that is surprisingly touchable? XD

Thank you. That is so incredibly true. It kinda makes my eye twitch when I see characters that are basically recolors or genderbendsΒ of the canon characters or just take a whole bunch of the same concepts from a single character and thinks it passes as an "original" character. XD

about the earpiece, actually he was originally intended to be a male version of Lilac but he doesn't really look like her at all, so i just decided to make him my first OC.
and yeah his earpiece varied beetween forms, the first earpiece is made b4 i started being "original" so it looks similar, well it is to be expected from a total beginner like me :'v
and currently i am researching for a new and better design for his earpiece, so people can distinguish it beetween a hearing aid and a control device.
