Here is one panel from a page of Cactus World that I removed from the comic. The story was heading in a stupid direction, and I wanted the story to head in an idiOTic direction instead. In this page, the story was that Poppa's uncle had died, and left his fortune to Poppa. He did so because he was so amused at Poppa's cruelty towards those who are different.

it looks great! The lines at the bottom are a bit distracting to me, though. I love balloon's monocle haha! Also, cash is very dirty and a blanket would be gross.

I think you are drawing with your fingers instead of your arm. For the very short lines this is okay, but it robs the fluidity of the long ones. Also, there is a fine line between tone and texture. Be careful about crossing it unintentionally.
Otherwise, I like the way you compose with black, white and grays. The tonal variation is commendable - the choice of technique could would benefit from extended deliberation. (Is you thinking befawe inking?)

you're right, I need to think before the ink. at this point i'm just telling a story in this first comic, the art is very uneven as you will see but as long as there's SOME laughs along the way that is the most important thing...at THIS stage in the game. It's the sacrifice of taking the 'learn as you go' route, your mistakes will be big and they will be very public
