Well... pure pigments are the magic ingredient. Get some pure pigments and you'll see what I say.

ah ah... I forgot... if you pay attention to the description, I used extra absorbent paper... that helps a lot too.

Many thanks, I'ts watercolor with ink and some white gouache. I'm not the type of artist that makes watercolor vaporeous and soft... I like it strong... as strong as it can be.

What an amazing painting!
The choice of colours works brilliantly..as does the blending
You have captured the portrayal of movement very well
Good stuff!

I like it. I have a feeling you'd work well with acrylics.
I love how its so abstract - I couldn't figure it out until I read the description.
I personally wouldn't have decreased the saturation - but I guess you did it for your own vision.

Ah well... I didn't decreased it much. Thanks... Indeed the work was intentionally obscure... but I wanted Rinaldo to have human proportions and a good armor.
About acrylics... not shure, I hate how they dry too fast... And I like the paint to be wet like for hours... I have worked fine with Oleums many times, but that's different.
Thanks for the comment.

The acrylic medium for pigments was made by a mexican ingeneer with comision of a mexican muralist painter> David Alfaro Siqueiros... who was also teacher of Pollock during a small course he gave in New York... as much as Pollock is refered as the king of action painting, action painting was a personal devenloping of some of siqueiros core ideals.

That's really interesting. I could be looking at Pollocks work at school some time this year so I'll fit that in

será la combinación de colores... o la abstracción, yo qué sé...
Nice... misa laika...
