Saitama: And so, after the fight moved down to the city, everyone saw me beat Boros and I was promoted to #1 S-Class of the Hero Associacion. Now everyone can finally recognise me as a true hero!
Superman: Good for you, Saitama. Congratulations.
Batman: Yeah, can you imagine if the fight moved up to the top of the space ship? I bet nobody would know what was going on.
Saitama: Probably... Oh, I also go by a new name now: BLAST. Apparently they did know about the times I beat up monsters, but never knew it was actually me. SO they made BLAST the official #1 hero until they could figure out who it was. But now they do, so the association changed my name. There also giving me a new suit to wear for crime fighting.
Superman: Nice.
Batman: What was your name before?
Saitama: Caped Baldy.
Batman: ...Really?
Saitama: Yeah... the Hero Association isn't the best for naming crime-fighters.
Superman: Hey, Genos, you've been quiet for a while. Is something the matter?
Genos: I'm scanning the area for any potential signs of Sweet Mask.
Batman: Sweet Mask?
Genos: Sweet Mask is was top ranked hero of A-Class and the most popular hero in the entire association. He's angry at my master for becoming the #1 S-Class hero and even tried to attack him on several occasions.
Saitama: Yeah, now he's gone rogue. He thinks the system for hero rankings is messed up and wants to kill me "Ruining his career."
Superman: I can relate. Hank still wants kill me for no reason at all.
Saitama: Isn't that the robot version of you? Where's he been?
Superman: Don't know, I haven't fought him for over a month now.
-BOOM-
Genos: Master, the explosion came from down town! It looks like Sweet Mask with Cyborg Superman!
Superman: Hey, BLAST, you wanna team up on this one?
Saitama: Sure, it might save time for me to make it to the bargain day at the supermarket.
-The two zoom off screen-
Batman: So... you lost your parents to some robot thug?
Genos: Unfortunately...
Batman: Same. If you want, I could help track down the robot responsible.
Genos: Appreciated, but unnecessary. This is my mission, and I will see it out to the end. Besides, why do you wish to help me in the first place.

I checked out the first volume to One-Punch Man and it is a cool manga, but the main character seems a little over powered to me. Still I want to continue reading it and hope that the hero gets a villain that will be able to go toe to tow with him.

Not sure that'll ever happen, buddy. Cause first and foremost, OPM is a Parody manga/anime. It parodies and pokes fun at the tropes we all came to know and love about the anime and superhero genre. That's why Saitama is so overpowered, he's the parody of all the overpowered main characters in every anime and manga.Β
