One of my all time favorite movies!Β It also now suits the times we live in again, with the fact that World War 3 could start at any time, perhaps with North Korea!Β Nice job on this one!

"Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria...
β¦there came an era when the ideals of friendship gave way to greed,
selfishness, paranoia and a jealous reaping of dwindling space and
natural resources. Lands took up arms against their neighbors.Β
The end of the world occurred much as we had predicted -- the world was
plunged into an abyss of balefire and dark magic. The details are
trivial and pointless. The reasons, as always, purely our own.Β
The world was nearly wiped clean of life. A great cleansing; a magical
spark struck by pony hooves quickly raged out of control. Megaspells
rained from the skies. Entire lands were swallowed in flames and fell
beneath the boiling oceans.Β
Ponykind was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the ambientΒ
radiation that blanketed the lands. A quiet darkness fell across the world...
β¦But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world.Β Instead, theΒ
apocalypse was simply the prologue for another bloody chapter in pony history..."

I know, but it's related to a nuclear apocalypse (in form of a television movie), like FoE, so I thought... why not?

This is fantastic, the type of Tank Girl.
I love the serious films of this subject. "On the Beach" for example.

Interesting interplay you have here in the primary colors, yellow of the field, green of the foliage, blue of the sky, red of the barn - it works well together.

All I can say is lets drop the bomb [link] *
I would suggest watching Threads, a British television drama produced by the BBC in 1984. [link] ** It deeply effects me even after seeing it about two years back.

Of course, I watched "threads" powerful film. Both films are equal in quality and design. In these films, I am struck by the scope of the picture.
I suggest you watch russian film "Dead Man's Letters" [link] Unless, of course, if you will find it with subtitles. This film is more serious and profound, so not everyone may like it.

Unlike other members of my nation, I rather have foreign videos in the original language with English subtitles. Thank you for sharing.

JhonnyRebel In reply to Psalms01 [2011-10-10 18:56:41 +0000 UTC]
dubbing of the film's may be different, important is the translation and character voices. Preference for subtitles is not a sign of ethnic. I just think that the English dub of this film basically doesn't exist.

Psalms01 In reply to JhonnyRebel [2011-10-10 20:39:31 +0000 UTC]
Its more a matter of taste than ethnic for me; donβt misunderstand. Much of what I like comes in poor dubs and because of that I prefer subtitles.
I donβt mean to insult my nation or its people. Just that many of them want to watch poor dubs than to read.
