I love this! The colours are gorgeus, and everything looks so good. I would very much like to have a chair like that, in that colour too. SO, remember that I really loike this because that was my point. I think you know your water colours, to put it like that!

I think that it's a really important to everything. To me, that reason this painting is such a success is partially because you handled everything else with as much love and care

YAY!! I'm glad you LOVE it! This friend of mine got these models together to meet on mondays and wednesdays and it's open to all artists who are interested in participating. So I went there, and painted her! I'm so proud of this piece, I think it's one of my strongest and most successful watercolor pieces.

I painted two self-portraits yesterday in watercolor and they turned out horrid. :sad: help.

I don't know why you think that they are horrid. The one thing that bothers me is that everything except for face is left nearly untouched. Even though it's watercolor, it's still a painting, so do not reject everything that you know about painting because you are using a different medium. I like them though.
