Description Made this costume awhile ago - This photo was taken my first trip to Tokyo. We went around midnight to the old red light district. Can you say BLADE RUNNER DREAMS COME TRUE? I KNOW I CAN. I was told that the police generally stay away from the Yakuza territory, and since we were foreigners, we were pretty much ignored. Even though Japan is a mecca of cosplay, it’s extremely discouraged to cosplay in public there.

You need to watch it again! Watching it when I was older was a lot different than watching it when I was like 12. It's a classic for lots of reasons.

Last time I saw it was a a year or two back, Probably more as time seems to have just flown by in recent years..... Not fully sure... Either way Harrison Ford always wins ah ha.

Yeah It is isn't it, Especially for what it was at the time. For me a Classic is like that of Cross of Iron with James Coburn and James Mason. That's a classic. As for Sci Films..... Star Wars plays in but after that I guess is probably Alien. Even though I really need to watch all the films. I've been hit and miss with them... Even though i have the Qadriology XD really need to sit down and watch that ah ha XD

I have not seen Cross of Iron, I'll have to put that on my STAT list.

As a side note, it is weird when "classics" get sited as being "timeless"... are they really timeless, or are so many modern movies influenced by them, that they look contemporary only because they are constantly referenced years later? I think about that a lot, but then I have another shot of Jack Daniels because my brain hurts.

Are yes. I think films get branded as classics when they are enjoyed for generations like the old animated Disney films. And when modern films 'tip their hat to them' so to speak with in film references it is pretty much a testament to the film or series classic status. Ah ha. I like your style. But sadly JD's ain't m poison. But I'll happily neck a bottle of ale in it's place for the sake of your style of mind numbing so to speak ah ha how XD

I've always wanted to dress like them for a day and go to Harajuku. Someday Japan seems awesome. Did you also see some of the traditional part of Japan?
