Early spring - Year 757 of the New Age
Glenmore - Loch Kerr

"I need some time alone."
With those words she had left her mate to find a place where she could think.
Why was she worried? she had everything she needed. A good mate, a herd she could life in, but still ... Not everything had fallen into it's place.

Sitka wandered around in the forest, herd mind was dragging her to a spot she even didn't knew yet.
Her hooves carrying her while she was thinking.
It was his fault ... their fault!! If he hadn't dragged her to those dark woods, he didn't had to came to rescue her.
The she wouldn't carry his child. If that had been different, she was maybe carrying the child of her true mate.
Sitka sighed deeply when she passed another tree line, feeling how the ground was becoming harder.

No, it's wasn't their fault, not really. It was her own fault.
If she had listened to her mother when she had told her not to believe in that dark stag.
That she had to leave him alone, not meeting him anymore, then non of this would have ever happened.
Then she hadn't became friends with him, then he wouldn't had tricked her to Blackwood and then he didn't had to came to rescue her.

The wind was blowing trough her long manes when she climbed up the mountain line. Her belly was growing each day, showing the new life she was carrying. Her mind went to the little fawn inside her, her child.
A child ... She was only a child herself. How could be become a mother already? She wasn't ready for this?
With her mind clouded by these thought, her concentration on the ground slipped away. She noticed it to late when the small rock under her legs were rolling away, making she lost balance.
Sitka fell how the rocky ground scratched over her body, making small wounds.
She moaned when she saw the drops of blood rising on her pale fur. "Mom is gonna hate me ..."

The wind was still blowing, marking that she was already high up in the mountain. Sitka sighed again and pulled herself up to walk those last meters. When she reached the top, the view was beautiful. Under her she could see the river, the last snow of the winter on the trees and birds flying high in the sky.
She sighed deeply, feeling the cold wind entering her lungs. But she also fell the stinging pain from those scratches.
She looked at it for a second before she closed her eyes. Scratches, pain, ... She had a lovely mate at her side, but still she felt lost.
Suddenly she felt something, a movement in her body, a kick, ... Sitka looked aside to her belly. Was it the fawn?

Uncontrollable, she smiled. It wasn't his fawn, it was her fawn. The fawn Ragnarok and her. He would take care of it, not that damned Crown prince. Still, she had wished this was Ragnor's fawn ... But she couldn't even hate this one? This little baby hadn't decide who it's father would be? So she couldn't blame it.

"don't worry, little one. I take care of you." she softly whispered, suddenly feeling a warmth inside her.

She looked up over the forest before she turned her round body and walked back to the herd.

She wanted to be back with her mate by the evening.

She even didn't fell the pain of the scratches, as they weren't there anymore...

- Travelling long distances etc. (+1 stamina)
- Act of performing magic (+1)

No worry that Sitka is worried. Her first child, from the Crown Prince who is not her mate. It can give trouble or is it maybe a blessing? who knows ...
