Sweet, well uh, your gonna think i'm a total dork but how much would the cover art be exactly? Like an in color drawing of all the characters standing in cool poses together, lol. I guess its kind of difficult to explain...

alright, let's break it down then shall we? ^_^
how many characters would be in the cover image that you want? (how many of those would you see at least half of the person? (meaning would there be any just head/bust shots of some?))
and would you want a simple background on the image? or a more complex one?

hmmmmm.... you're thinking of this being a cover illustration correct?
well, perhaps I should explain something that might help.
For a "cover" illustration, or an illustration that will be printed in a small format you need to keep in mind the idea of hierarchy. Which characters are the MOST important. and in truth you want to limit yourself to 5 characters at most for ideal Illustrations. many more than that and the image becomes to busy for the viewer to understand what's going on. Hierarchy, the importance, comes into play in the image itself, as an Illustrator I would want to portray the importance of the character by the emphasis I try to bestow them with, (more important characters are larger, or closer, or brighter in color.) what I would WANT to do is give a hint of the relationships between the characters pictured....
think of it similarly to a movie poster, In a poster you almost never see ALL the characters, sometimes you might see just one, like with "Prince Caspian" sometimes you might see a few like "Harry Potter" (where he had Ron and Hermione behind him.) sometimes as many as five, but you want to keep it simple where you can. perhaps the hero, (and his right and left hand friends,) and the villian? maybe the villain's steed or an important monstrous foe....
anyways, I CAN do what you described... but I don't think it'll look very good as the book cover itself.

its looking good, i especially like the nose and the black around the eyes..i think working more on the eyes, adding some shine and making them more glossy and sharp will really add to this

I haven't really worked much on the eyes yet, but that's good advice, thanks!

Noticing the details about proportion, shading, texture, and coloring.

Okay, here's where I am confused.
you said, "I'm still TRYING to see ART" does that mean it doesn't look like art?
does that mean you can't see the technique I used to create it?
I know Natani is a girl, but I don't think I can remember a specific image... no.

With a Wacom... so you could say I used the same technique as you might use with colored pencils... lotsa strokes.
