I was just saying this didnt look goth, which is true since it's another style and since putting crosses is not sufficient to call something goth. Call it a sub style of the gothic style if you want.
The thing was your deviation missed something in the title and it was misleading.Two things cant have the same name if theyre completely different.
Then yes, I had no idea that this style, which looks rather emo, was actually called "pastel goth", so yeah, my bad. I learned a thing I guess.

I hid your comment because I like to refrain from having paragraphs be posted on my art work, I am also not a fan of having personal criticism of my work be displayed publicly for other viewers or watchers. I understand that I'm not that well informed of the dress styles that are in the categories mentioned above and I would like for viewers to understand that the clothing I design for my characters are solely based on my experience or from what I've seen of what the said styles.

Just saying there was an incohereance between the title and the actual design.
It's nothing wrong/serious though ? Anyone can make mistakes.
I didn't tell you that to point at your mistake but rather for you to learn from it and change something ?
Or to be told that I was the one who was misinformed on the matter, since, I admit, I'm not following fashion and I am very bad at remembering names.
It's just misleading to have a title that doesn't really fit the image and I hoped my comment would actually make it clearer.
Also, I know it's not necessarily easy to get all good information on things but when you're working on something out of your comfort zone or that you don't know anything about I think you should just make some research on it before posting anything. -shrugs-
Then if you're too lazy or just don't want to do it for whatever reason it is, that's your choice. But then I'm not the one compromising /discrediting you, you would be the one doing it to yourself.

Like I've said what I draw is how I interoperate the style would be. Although not well versed, the design I create that I know to be gothic or pastel is my personal taste within the fashion. I appreciate that you're taking the time to tell me that it isn't necessarily "strong" in a certain dressing style however, I'd like to reiterate that the costumes I design are what MY personal take with MY personal tastes in clothing designs are o-o)b
