Description This is my second acrylic painting on paper. I dedicate this painting to .... I wanted to draw something very dramatic yet romantic.....which gives a magical touch (well it looks magical to me)..... The art technique is quite different than how I paint in other traditional method....I just got drawn to the style of bold strokes (post impressionist affect may be)....I just wanted to create a visually aesthetic image with random strokes,,,there won't be smooth curving or realistic style...the entire image is standing on a basic abstract structure of random color strokes...the coloring with light and shading play..however did not want to break the rule of display....though their characteristics as well as pattern is little different from my usual paintings....

Still There: It depicts an old bench and a light that still exists and lighten a shallow wood..welcoming weary travelers who hardly pass by the place....I hope they find each other's company warm and loving...and stay there like that as long as possible.....

Other acrylic work:

prisimicolors are color pencils right? or they got water and acrylic too? different colors have different technique to use.....for eg in water color its hard to use light color on top of dark color...but its just the opposite for oil color...again in acrylic its a bit of both but acrylic dries up real quick so u wont get much time to mix color on canvas after putting it.....so it all depends on which medium u use...so first u need to choose ur medium then technique..once u try on you will develop ur own technique and style and then it will be easy to control colors...some use color theory to create color contrast, shading, mixing etc..but i dont..i think its better to observe to get the idea...and it works well.....we can have a chat over it if u r interested.....while my net comes back ofcourse.....
