Just a little something I cropped up in between studying for English Literature.Done in the Ultimate Chibi style I've been using lately.

Well, Yugi/Tea kinda did, but in the end, they remained on friendship base and she still seemed to be carrying a torch (or at least a candle) for Atemu, as futile as that was.
Everything else never got past superficial crush to begin with (Honda/Shizuka, Otogi/Shizuka, Rebecca/Yugi, Vivian/Yugi), was doomed (Priest Seto/Kisara, Pegasus/Cecilia) or plain unhealthy (Mai/Varon).
So yeah, Katsuya and Mai got furthest (from rivals, via friends to love-interests) and developed most naturally, even though they were never canon-confirmed. I'm still holding out for the recently announced YGO movie (which is apparently set after the Millenium Arc). After all, she DID promise to return to him; she was shown on the path to mend (fighting alongside Vivian) and in an altogether better place in the finale. So there's hope there...
